There's lots to do at The Farmer's Dog. Some of it needs to be booked in advance, some of it doesn't. Everything you need to know is here. Unless you need to know how to build a dry stone wall. That didn't seem relevant for a pub website.
Food is a big part of our pub. British farmed food, of course. There are various ways to fill your face with brilliant British produce at The Farmer's Dog, and here they are.

the pub
The original. The mothership. The beating heart of this whole thing. It's The Farmer's Dog itself, created to celebrate and support British farming through brilliant British food.
The Farmer’s Puppy
The Farmer’s Puppy
We’ve had Morecambe & Wise, Vic & Bob, Dick & Dom. Now welcome Britain’s latest and greatest double act, the Dog and the Puppy. Like The Farmer’s Dog, The Farmer’s Puppy serves great British food and drink and majors on whole carcass butchery. Which you certainly don’t get with French & Saunders.
The Farmer’s Dough
The Farmer’s Dough
Our pizza outlet. Yes, the modern pizza was invented in Italy but our pizzas are made exclusively with British ingredients from the dough to the cheese to the toppings. To make them even more British, we might start calling them Petes.
Don’t want to miss a thing? Stay in the loop
As you’d expect, every drink we serve in The Farmer’s Dog is British, from our wines to our Hawkstone beer, cider and spirits. So if you’re after a well-known American soft drink, you might be disappointed.

the pub
We don't just celebrate British food here. Our drinks are proudly British too, including our glorious wines and, of course, our Hawkstone beer, cider and spirits.
The Garden Bars
The Garden Bars
The pub itself can become pretty busy but that's okay because you can always get a drink at one of the garden bars. Enjoy a fine British drink and fine British weather, or at least the first part of that.
The Farmer's Dog isn't just about eating and drinking. You can also buy stuff to take home and here are the places that make this possible.
Hops & Chops
Hops & Chops
Our on-site butcher and bottle shop sells the finest British-reared meat and a range of entirely British drinks from Hawkstone. It also has merchandise including clothes. Basically, you might never need to shop anywhere else.
diddly Squat Farm Shop
diddly Squat Farm Shop
What started as a small operation to get rid of an unexpectedly large harvest of Diddly Squat potatoes has grown into a glorious festival of all-British products, from jam and honey to crisps and clothes.
FAQs
We all have questions. Here are the answers to the ones we get asked most often. Can't find what you're looking for? Visit our Help Centre for more information.
Do I need to book?
To eat in the pub, yes. Tables are released a month at a time, starting at the beginning of the previous month, and they go fast, especially for weekends. But if you want to eat or drink at The Farmer's Puppy food truck in The Grand Tour tent there’s no booking needed, it’s first come, first served.
How do I book?
Everything is through the booking widget on our website. We don’t take bookings via email, social media DM, postcard, telegram, carrier pigeon, or by phone. In fact, we don’t even have a phone number.
How do we contact you?
Our Help Centre should have the answer your looking for. If not, you can find the right team to reach out to in the contact section. You could try calling us but we literally don’t have a phone number so that probably won’t work.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
We do our best to accommodate all dietary requirements, from gluten free to vegan, just let us know when you book online. But please remember we use only British ingredients, many of which are seasonal, which means there might be a limited choice that meets your needs.
Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely. But we’re a very busy pub so ideally just a dog or two and not, say, a pack of nine St Bernards per person. Other pets are not so welcome. After all, we’re not called The Farmer’s Six Cats & A Rabbit.
Can I bring a birthday cake?
As part of our commitment to back British farming we insist that only totally British foods products are brought into the pub, and that includes birthday cakes. So first you’ll need to find a British producer of cacao beans for chocolate (and if you do, can you tell us how to get hold of them).
Will Jeremy be at the pub?
Maybe, but we can’t be sure. He doesn’t need to let anyone know when he’s popping in for a pint because, well, it’s his pub. Just remember, he’s got a farm to run and a TV show to make so he’s not here all the time.

We're not hard to find. Mind you, you could say the same about Australia and that still took centuries to pin down.
